Types Of Coins

Hard Enamel - Our hard enamel  coins and pins continue the fine-art tradition of glass enameling started in China centuries ago. They are made from hand-pouring powered glass like hard enamel paint into the recesses of a die struck brass base. The brass can be plated in gold, silver, or nickel. After being baked at a very high temperature, the hard enamel is sanded and polished to be flush with the metal lines that separate the colors. This gives the project a smooth and lustrous quality. Soft Enamel - This type of pin is a less expensive version of Epola pin that have the some look and PMS Color options. With this style, soft paint is painted into the recessed of the brass die struck base, leaving a relief effect that lets you feel the die struck pattern. Gold, silver, nickel, black nickel and other plating. Also add a clear epoxy dome for long-lasting durability and a shiny, finished look. Die Struck With No Color - The basic die struck pins gives a classic dimensional look without adding color. It is made from either brass or steel that is stamped with the pin design and cut out. The metal base is then plated with gold, silver, nickel, black and can be antiqued, sandblasted or simply polished. Picture Insert Coin - The offset printing pin can show any colors as your design, even if a shadow color that other progress can't do. It uses a laser to print your designs on a metal and add a very thin epoxy over the top for long lasting protection. Offset printing is typically used for orders that are of great detail of someones face, or detailed scenery.
